Beginning Swim

There is no greater gift I can offer than the joy of swimming.  Swimming is a life skill.  Swimming is among the best forms of exercise for general health, stress reduction, and overall fitness.  Please, jump in.

I believe in teaching swimming from the inside out.  That means that I begin with the body, balance, and comfort and progress to the motions of the arms and legs.  This allows far more rapid learning.  Most beginning students develop a comfortable freestyle within the first hour of practice.  From there, we develop specific skills of breathing, efficiency, and if desired, speed and distance.
