What is the Dean's Leadership Council?

We are a council of students made from the leaders of School of Business groups, advised by the Dean of the Business School, Don Siegel. 

What is our purpose?

In addition to facilitating the exchange of ideas between School of Business groups, the DLC assists in helping new students adjust as well as hosting the end of semester DLC All-Nighter to prepare School of Business Students for their finals. DLC also hosts various social activities including sporting events in order to foster communicative yet fun activities throughout the diverse business organizations. The next step: open new lines of communication within the School of Business community through the implementation of a Blackboard pilot program to supplement the Blackboard program already used on campus.

I am starting a new student group.  Can we join the DLC?

The Dean's Leadership Council is always welcome to new groups.  As long as you are an established group on campus and are associated with the School of Business at the University at Albany, contact Katy or Andrew at ua.deans.leadership.council@gmail.com to see if you meet further requirements to be on the council.
