"Pick Your Path" 

Wednesday, October 29th from 6pm-8pm at University Hall 

  • Are you intending on being a business major at the University at Albany?  Did you know that you'll need to choose a concentration?  Let us help you decide!
  • Event held during the Fall Semester
  • Come out and learn about the concentrations within the School of Business (Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Management, Information Technology Management, Finance, and Financial Analysis Honors Program)
  • Have a question?  Ask students currently studying for a degree in that concentration, or speak directly with Professors and Academic Advisers!
  • A great event for Freshman or Sophomores
  • See what careers come from different concentrations
  • Network with your peers and get to know your future Professors early
  • Light refreshments served
  • Stop in ANY TIME between 6 & 8pm .. There's no need to be there all two hours, but stay as long as you'd like!

"Junior Achievement Bowl-a-thon"
Friday, November 7th at Playdium Bowling Center
  • A charity event for Junior Achievement, but coordinated for UA students by the DLC for the first time!

"DLC R & R!"
  • Another annual favorite for students in the School of Business
  • The DLC provides FREE (yes, free) coffee, snacks, juices, candy, and energy drinks to give you a little help with getting through finals week.
  • Held on the Reading Day of both the Fall and Spring Semesters
  • Where? In the lobby of the SoB building
  • Time TBD for the 2014-2015 School Year
 "State of the School of Business"
  • An annual event held each Spring in which Dean Donald Siegel addresses the students of the School of Business to inform them of the State of the School of Business along with his future plans for the school
  • Network with the DEAN of your school and learn about your school
  • Get involved with your community of business students
  • Q&A Session with the Dean to follow his address
  • Spring 2015 details to come.. 
"Speed Mock Interviewing"
  • Event held in the Spring Semester
  • Come out and practice your interview skills with real recruiters!
  • Have recruiters ask you questions and critique you on your answers
  • Improve yourself and get ready for your future career
  • Network with professionals and your peers
  • Dress business professional, or as professional as you already have in your closet
  • Bring a resume if you have one
