Keynote Speaker Biography

Sister Joann Heinritz, CSJ
Sister Joann is the Director of CSJ Spirituality and Mission at Carondelet High School in Concord California. She is also currently an instructor, spiritual director, and retreat director in the New Directions sabbatical program at the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley as well as the sabbatical program at the School of Applied Theology. Holding Masters degrees in spirituality and theology, Sr. Joann is also certified as a Massage Practitioner. Her retreats and workshops incorporate her passion for embodied spirituality and holistic well-being. She also volunteers regularly as a massage therapist at Marian Residence, a shelter for homeless women in the Tenderloin area of San Francisco. 

Juliette Marsh Williams
Juliette is an adjunct professor of Theology and Cannon Law at Loyola Marymount University. She is also a facilitator for the CSJ Heritage Institute at Mount St. Mary's University in Los Angeles, CA. In addition to being a frequent retreat leader and speaker, Juliette is also invested in research and speaking about the CSJ spirituality. She has led faculty/staff workshops, board retreats and strategic planning workshops related to the CSJ charism. For the past year, she has also been a Religious studies teacher at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy in Los Angeles.

Learn more about the primary source documents to engage parents, teachers or students in deeper faith formation around the history and spirituality of our CSJ/SSJ legacy. Practical applications, sample presentations, and a tour of materials will be presented.
