shoot the stop plate early you lose for the string.

Click on the file below for shooting stage details.

going past the schools)
Shooting will start after safety brief and admin duties. All shooters
must be present for the safety briefing.
This event will be conducted, as all Creaker events, as a COLD RANGE
 Shooters will only handle firearms when told to do so by the
RSO’s command to “Load and make ready” on the firing line.
 Safety table will be available if shooter has to handle firearm
 At no time will ammunition and firearm be handled together
until the RSO has given the command.
This IS A NOT A TIMED EVENT, this is a warm up event for our coming
TIMED handgun events. Shooters need to plan the order that they will
shoot the targets to be able to shoot the STOP PLATE LAST.
The idea behind this event is to use proper sight picture, sight
alignment, and trigger control to shoot the course of fire in a smooth
and continuous motion. This does not have to be FAST. Speed will
come with practice. The goal is to be smooth and accurate while
improving your skills.
The idea is to have fun, be safe, and give you a challenging set of
targets to hone your skills and challenge your friends and fellow
shooters.

MARCH 18th TRAP/SKEET SHOTGUN EVENT CANCELED

posted Jan 18, 2020, 9:19 AM by tabascotom1   [ updated Jun 17, 2020, 2:18 PM ]

Creaker Trap/Skeet Shotgun Event
Mar 18, 2020 @ BRPC
The first Creaker Shotgun event of the year.
We are going to shoot both skeet and trap, as long as we have enough participants to ask for the use of both ranges. We usually do but to show our support for the BRPC Trap Club, please put this date and time on your schedule.
The Gate will open at 0800 and close at 0840. When you arrive please take care of the Admin tasks as quickly as possible. The cost is $5 to the Creakers (raffle) and $5 per round of 25 Clays to BRPC. You will shoot five rounds from five positions for a total of 25 rounds for Trap. Skeet will be handled the same. As usual we’ll have water provided.
As always, please watch your speed driving in Boulder City and the two school zones. Don’t want to ruin a good day at the range.
If you know of any of our members that did not get on the sign-up list and would like to shoot, please invite them along. There is always room for more.
The folks at Boulder do a fine job and are always a great help in supporting the Creakers.

Hello CREAKER members.  As explained by the President of the Nevada Firearms Coalition (NVFAC), Mr. Don Turner, at our January 2019 club meeting, information and alerts regarding Nevada firearms legislation and the anti-gun lobby can be obtained by signing up for the NVFAC PAC emails.  Just go to www.nvfacpac.org and submit your email address as indicated on their home page.  Generally, when you receive alert emails from the NVFAC they will include directions for contacting your Nevada and/or U.S. congressional representatives.  Also, if you are a member of the NRA, you will receive alerts and directions for contacting your legislative representatives.

During the presentation by Dane Mattoon of the Henderson Police Department at our August 2017 meeting, he provided us with this phone number for non-emergency calls. Depending on where you are located in the valley, a call by cell phone to 311 may connect you to Metro police dispatch rather than Henderson police dispatch. This alternate phone number will ensure you are connected directly to Henderson police.
