Dear Chess Friends,
I am pleased to announce that,I organized another new book competition!
In this tour,One of the main target was to test mainly the small opening books,Which usually prefer to play a lot of various openings...And in same time (for more fair conditions):As far as possible I picked/created books, which tuned mainly up to 10-12 movesException, the TripleBrains ones, yes...they are quite strong...no doubt... !!Even up to 15 moves, they are as MONSTERS ...unbelievable performance indeed..But this is also true...reality is reality.. they are not so much various in openings. For example...many of these Top book prefers the trend e.g A28, C54 etc it is all ok..Plus size of Top books are much bigger...not so much fair...but again it's all right!)In short, finely I decided to include them too, the reason simply because:I couldn't find better way, I was afraid that SCCT will be Forever on Top!)Note: SCCT book plus like all small books are tuned mainly up to 8 movesAnd just imagine.. if I start tuning the deep lines like in 2007-2009 years..Probably any book will be performed much better with winning percentage...A small Note: I am talking by same weaker engine approx. 10 Elo, just saying...
Continuing...
And to be honest, I' can't say SCCT book is played with much fair conditions..Due to I picked a weaker other engine... please see below for more detailsIn short, I preferred simply a harder way...just to be not as Number One!)But again and again, My used frequent engine openings were for a long time on Top....In other words, like in all other previous book tours (I mean since 2007)My goal to be not a Champ anymore, once I managed to do that...it's enoughAnd there is no doubt that,My used openings are not faultless, but they seems to be as one of strongest! To be more clear, I am referring about in case of various short openings...And I am so happy that my free efforts (since 2000 years) are not in vain...!)
And here are the superior results played by TripleBrain MZC book:XXVII Champion: TripleBrain MZC - Congrats to Top book authors:Mr NoName, Zeus and CF1977-RebirthIndividual Statistics: Mr: 57/100 ZEUS: 61/100 CF1977: 55.5/100
TripleBrain DVF opening book is performed as 3rd...impressive..TripleBrain DVF book is played by DON Lite 2+ Vitamin 220420 + FresIndividual Statistics: DON: 58/100 VITAMIN: 49.5/100 FRES: 51/100
Note: All TripleBrain books played by Authors recommended book settingsException. they are played up to 15 moves (for more fair conditions)Btw, Cerebellum Dual (with BookDepth 15) did not work properly: DetailsAlso good performance by CS 35-36 opening book (up to 12 moves)It's based mainly on Top20 players openings played in recent tours: 35 36However, I should admit CS 35-36 book suffers in some openings, due toNot enough games, its mostly lines are based/tuned to prefer A28, C54 etcIt's clear that more games (but with wins) needed vs various opponents...CCRL, CCC etc books seems to be strong indeed and in my opinion:Games on fast GPUs, CPUs + SF openings played as another BIG role...And not bad performance by Xmas2640-12 book (congrats to Mr .Scheidll)Up to 12 moves, released in 2006, based on GMs games, that means a lot!Note also that Xmas2640 managed to be as Champion, so no BIG surprise...A few words about PHCEL, TWIC books, which are ranked as last placesPHCEL based on engine games av. 3300-3400 Elo.where rest mainly 3500+Also similar issue about TWIC book, which is based on only human games...I mean that's a clear disadvantage...so no surprise about why they are as last
And without to not mention this I can't,Unfortunately still some testers prefer many critical (weak) opening lines...And as expected, these weak openings affect any engine performance...As we know, the opening is the 'key' to get high Elo!! and I believe in that:The majority of chess fans can't gain much with their played critical games...So it seems not much is changed since many years, a note: we are in 2020!For more info regarding engine openings can be viewed: Talkchess forum
Some more notes about the current played conditions:All opening books are played by same chess engine: Brainfish 151019 C40Exc, SCCT book is played by CfishU 161019 C40 (approx.10 Elo weaker...)This XXXVII book competition is continued...till SCCT book lost the lead! And finely now I can take a deep breath...!)
