Hacking Guide
Welcome to the Hacking Guide!
This is the initial guide that has to be followed before the other hacks can be applied.
In this tutorial, we will install the Homebrew Channel, an application that runs homebrew programs on the console.
For the people who want to do even more with their Wii, we will provide some additional steps.
Note to Wii U users: while some of the below exploits do work to softmod the console's virtual Wii (vWii), it is recommended to use a dedicated Wii U guide instead.
Choose an exploit
Depending on what console you have, and what games or connectivity options you have available, there are different exploits that can be used to install homebrew on your console. Please select a suitable exploit from the list below (all lead to the same end result)
