Former Judges

2015 Judge Angela Walsh

 2012 Judge Lindsey Berbee

My name is Lindsey Berbee, born and raised in Colorado, I am extremely lucky to have been around horses my whole life. I grew up in Jefferson County showing competitively in both 4-H and Paints, and also was part of the Jefferson County 4-H judging team for 8 years. I have been a State 4-H Certified judge for Colorado since 2004, and now judge many shows for 4-H and Open clubs. I obtained my POA card in 2010, and this year I am working towards my APHA judges card. In my spare time, I work with the Rocky Mountain Junior Paint Horse Club as the Youth Advisor. We have been planning several fun activities for youth to participate in throughout the year, and we are very excited for the new things in the works! Outside of horses, I work as a Quality Assurance Engineer for a company that designs software solutions for Emergency Medical companies across the world.

Rick Evans is an IJA and Gaited Horse Dressage judge (since 2009).  He has raised, trained, and exhibited naturally gaited horses since moving to Colorado in 1999.
"At EvansGait in Kiowa, CO, we believe that gaited breed horses are well suited to almost any equine activity including rail, trail, packing, drill team, driving, parade, gymkhana, roping, sorting, and dressage.  We strive to achieve a well rounded horse and rider using classical and natural training techniques."

Rick has been involved in 4-H activities since 1989 including livestock judging and exhibiting, and shooting sports.  Rick currently serves as President of the Rocky Mountain Region Rocky Mountain Horse Association.

Trail Judge Quincy Jane Porzio:

I moved to Colorado 7 years ago from Sioux Falls, South Dakota to attend Colorado State University. I am currently enrolled at CSU pursuing a masters of Agriculture in Integrated Resource Management. In 2009 I completed a bachelors of Equine Science and a minor in Agriculture and Resource Economics at CSU. I enjoy packing and traveling the backcountry by horse and will be continuing to work in the outfitting industry this season in the Teton Wilderness with Swift Creek Outfitters.
