At the South of England Athletic Under 20 and Senior Championships, Colchester Harriers had some great performances, particularly in the Under 20 men’s Hammer competition, where James Hamblin produced a new personal best and club record, with a throw of 66.35m, which earned him a Silver medal and was only beaten by a new national record. Kelly Sutton came back from a short lay off to come 5th in her heat of the Senior Women’s 100m with a 12.75secs and made it through to the final of the 200m recording 25.55secs in the process. Connor Oliver was also in action in the Under 20 men’s producing 2 personal best’s in another superb performance, recording 22.77secs in his heat and 22.61secs in his final, where he finished in 6th place. |
