Good Afternoon Centaurs!
I hope everyone enjoyed last Saturday’s Pumpkin Chase as much as I did! I’ve attached a few photos.
We have our two last regattas of the fall season scheduled for this weekend; the Hogan Fries and Pull the Plug.
The Hogan Fries is Saturday, November 2nd beginning at 8a.m. at West Side Rowing Club. This regatta is for our novice athletes only. I just received the schedule of events which is attached. Please plan to meet your coach in the erg room 60 minutes prior to your event. Our events are as follows:
We will be racing Freshman 8s and Novice 4s. The following athletes are scheduled to compete:
Womens Novice 4 Bridget Ryan, Corinne Mcloughlin, Emilia Krieg, Maura Graham, Skylar Cerbone
Womens Novice Freshman 8 Isabelle Longfellow, Madeleine Cherr, Sophie Zionts, Robbea Williams, Morgan Williams, Maria Kay, Sophia Quigley, Alivia Smeltzer-Darling, Meghan Greico
Mens Novice Freshman 8 Alexander Lutkoff, Robert Graziano, Joseph Hassett, Benjamin Dimitroff, Nicholas Gorman, Hunter Thomson, Benjamin Spencer, Elliot Morse, Dan White
Mens Novice 4* Alexander Lutkoff, Mam Deng, Raven Brock, Ates Dosluoglu, Sam Hamlett,
* The Mens Novice 4 must have perfect attendance at tomorrow nights’ practice in order to compete on Saturday. It’s essential that they row together prior to competing.
Pull the Plug is on Sunday, November 3rd beginning at 8:30 a.m. in Pittsford, NY just outside Rochester(details attached). This regatta is for our varsity athletes only and not all athletes will be competing:
Please plan to dress for cold wet weather. Layers are always recommended for this time of year and a rain jacket. Gloves are never allowed while rowing, but can certainly can be used while carrying the boat to and from the docks! Also, if anyone is unable to attend the regatta they are scheduled for, please let us know as soon as possible.
