Yuna is a dark standard female I purchased from Steve Wells at the '06 Fall Field Day. She caught my eye on the show table and when her cage number was written on the "For Sale" paper, I just had to get her. She's a pretty girl with good size, clarity, and conformation and strong fur. To top it off, she has a bright white belly. At the state show, the judges' comments on her were that she has good size and fur, a nice belly, but isn't in prime which will keep her from moving higher than 1st place. It's unfortunate she wasn't in prime that day (she was priming over her hips) but she still did well. Yuna was also registered at this show under Phase 1 for the ECBC Quality Assurance Program.
Although a pretty little girl, Yuna is quite demanding and reminds me much of Aurora when she first came home. She has a snippy attitude and is always barking at me, even when taking a treat! Still, she is a great chin and a wonderful asset to my standard breeding program. She is currently paired with Sirius, a Dark Star male picked out with the help of Ellis Adcock. This pair produces lovely standards.
