Principal's Welcome

Chaffey Secondary College is a college with a reputation for producing capable and successful young people from all walks of life.

Our learners are proud to represent their school in a range of endeavours and at the peak of excellence, especially in leadership, sport, debating and public-speaking, Koorie leadership, art, music and drama.

We ensure that all learners have access to computer technology, in any class, ready and set up to work. Students can use a range of devices for their learning, connect to our fast-broadband connection, communicate with teachers and other students via email and our school intranet, if they need to, borrow a netbook from our library to complete homework and stay in touch, and with the Student Management Tool we're working to develop an electronic showcase of their work to share with parents online.

Chaffey Secondary College is a place for learners and teachers who are curious, who think and question critically, who analyse their strengths and weaknesses, and share a focus on student improvement, achievement and success. It’s a place where students are encouraged to develop a sense of adventure, who are prepared and supported to take risks in being original, and develop resourcefulness
Our students are taught to have a deep understanding of significant ideas and concepts; we ask students to make connections between these ideas in order to make sense of their world.
Our Chaffey Modular Learning Program allows our students the opportunity to use knowledge about themselves as learners coupled with their aspirations for when they leave year 10 to put together an individual learning plan each term.

Our amazing technology learning spaces include wood and timber, metals and plastics, automotive, fabrics, textiles and fashion, cooking and hospitality, and they are some of the best in the district.

Our teachers are experienced, dedicated and caring. They are focused on preparing learners for life, and for life-long learning.

At Chaffey College we are developing learning and learners for the future.
