Cavendish Training is a provider of CPD workshops for Counsellors & Psychotherapists.
- Cavendish Training was founded
by Edward Silver to
deliver local, affordable CPD workshops in Suffolk for counsellors and
psychotherapists.
- Our aim is to provide experiential CPD which can enhance
practice and personal development.
- We provide workshops on Using Therapeutic Art & Play, Mindfulness and working with particular client groups such as Adolescents and Survivors of Abuse.
- Each workshop is only open to a
maximum of 15 per group which means that there is ample opportunity
for delegates to share ideas or experiences and make a valuable
contribution to the event.
Meet the Trainers
Edward Silver MBACP is
a trainer and counsellor in Suffolk who works with adults, children and young
people using an integrative approach. He uses mindfulness and creative art and
play techniques within his work with people of all ages and is passionate about
sharing his knowledge with others to promote creativity into counselling
practice. As well as his private practice he works within local schools as a
counsellor for children and young people.
Nicky Harbridge MBACP is
an integrative counsellor in private practice, child and family practitioner
for an award winning organisation supporting survivors of rape and sexual abuse
and lecturer in Counselling Young People at University Campus Suffolk. Like
Edward she uses mindfulness, creative art and therapeutic play within her
work with people of all ages and enjoys sharing her experiences with fellow
practitioners.
Our Mission To provide affordable, professional CPD training which supports and enhances effective and ethical practice as well as personal development. Our CPD workshops are designed to be suitable for practitioners of all theoretical backgrounds and levels of experience.
