Tuesday Talks at The Station

Castle Hill are sponsoring several of these talks, held between Tuesday 9th September and Tuesday 2nd December 2014.
Speakers and topics are varied, tickets are £7 from the venue (including £2 voucher for Seasons restaurant/cafe).
 
Talks sponsored by Castle Hill include:
 
Counting Sheep by Philip Walling. September 16th.
Barrister and sheep farmer Philip talks about how sheep have shaped our landscape and how the animal is more interesting than many would believe.
 
Seas of Change by Prof. Callum Roberts. September 23rd.
Marine biologist Callum Roberts, who advised the BBC on the 'Blue Planet' series, talks about his passion and fears for the world's oceans.
 
YDNP @ 60 by Colin Speakman. November 25th.
Colin is an author, poet and co-founder of the Yorkshire Dales Society celebrates the National Park's 60th birthday, talks about it's characters and challenges for the future.
