Castle Hill Bookshop Events, 2017 

Congratulations to Costa Book of the Year Winner, Sebastian Barry for
'Days Without End'.
His book, and all the Category Winners, are in our window
along with a celebration of Costa and all Richmond, North Yorkshire's independent tea and coffee shops...

Saturday February 18th 2017, 7.30pm
Rachel Reeves, Labour MP for Leeds West
will be talking about her predecessor, Alice Bacon, and also reading from her book
'Alice in Westminster'.
PLEASE NOTE that this event has been moved to
Richmond Town Hall, Market Place, DL10 4QL
as we needed a larger venue!
Tickets £3 from Castle Hill Bookshop. 
Tickets are no longer limited, however we still recommend buying in advance.

Saturday September 23rd to Sunday October 1st.

Small Business Saturday

We are taking part in Small Business Saturday!  You can look forward to mince pies and if you spend more than £20 in store, you can get a free pair of crazy Christmas glasses.

This takes place on Saturday 5th December. 

Peter Owen Jones is coming to Richmond on 25th November 2015

We are delighted to announce that Mr Jones, who was unfortunately unable to attend the Walking and Book Festival this year, will be coming to Richmond on Wednesday 25th November 2015 to talk about his book Pathways: Tranquil
Walks Through Britain.

Time: 7:30pm Wednesday 25th November 2015
Location: Richmond Town Hall
Tickets are just £5 each and they are available 
at our bookshop.

If you have seen the new Jurassic Park film at Richmond station, bring in your ticket stub and you can have 10% off any dinosaur book. If  you are too young to see the film, you get the same deal if you bring in a dinosaur!

The Festival of Railway Literature - Bedale 2015
