In 1984 David entered the USAF Reserves and continued his education at Fuller Theological Seminary and in due course graduated with a Master of Divinity from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, PA. Upon graduation, Pastor Reynolds was Ecclesiastically Endorsed by the Pentecostal Church of God to be a Chaplain in the USAF. For the next 33 years Chaplain Reynolds would serve across many, communities, states and in many countries to include: Germany, Japan, New Zealand and Antarctica. Chaplain Colonel Reynolds recently retired as the Deputy Director of Joint Chaplains, Arlington, VA.
Bishop Reynolds has served the PCG since 1977 initially licensed in the Blackhills District. In 1980 he transferred to the Capital District and was ordained. He and Hope have served in various assignments to include: Christian Education Director, Mountain Section Presbyter and Capital District Board member.
On April 29, 2017 he was elected to be the Bishop of the Capital District. He and Hope look forward to encouraging, exhorting and edifying the District.
