Bare Chested

Bare Chested takes place in the nation where “fear of queers is in the milk”. Butch Stacy Rosen gets cancer, loses a breast she frequently despised, and almost loses her high femme girlfriend Leah. As chemotherapy and radiation sap Stacy’s emotional and sexual power, the couple fights to stay together while Stacy adjusts to her new body. Stacy’s inner conflicts and eventual reconciliation take place through the on-stage appearance of her feisty psychic Double.
