Welcome to the Brinkman lab!

Thank you for visiting the website of Braden A. W. Brinkman, Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurobiology and Behavior and a founding member of the Center for Neural Circuit Dynamics at Stony Brook University in New York state.

My group studies how networks of neurons work together to process, transmit, and perform computations on inputs to the brain. My Ph.D. training is in statistical physics, which influences the approaches I take to studying the collective interactions of neurons.

Above, you can use the menu links to learn more about my research, see my CV, publications list, and contact information.

If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with me!
