Kasher the BIJ Kitchen                                               Sunday, April 17, 10:00am (no YFP)

Children and adults of all ages are invited to join Rabbi Glazer in learning what it means to kasher a kitchen for Pesach (Passover), as we prepare the BIJ kitchen. Feel free to bring some bits of bread for the ritual burning of chametz. Then join in the fun as we set the tables for our community’s second-night seder.

Families join us for the monthly potluck Shabbat dinner and service. We’ll celebrate birthdays and share our food. No YFP on Sunday this weekend, in honor of Mothers’ Day.

Youth-Led Shabbat & Faculty Appreciation                    Saturday, May 14, 10:00am

Don’t miss this celebratory event highlighting our students leading us in prayer and honoring our faculty for a fabulous year! No YFP on Sunday this weekend, in honor of our youth & faculty [and Bay to Breakers].

Lag B’Omer picnic                                                       Sunday, May 22, 11:30 am – 2:00 pm

Bring a picnic for yourself and an item to share with others at our final YFP event & end of the year celebration at the Walter Haas Playground on Addison. The major cross street is Diamond Heights Boulevard. Restrooms will be available across the street at the Goodman/Kerner home. Look for Ann Morgenstern and stake out a spot for your family! Rabbi Glazer will be there for the first portion of the picnic – looking forward to seeing you there!

Game night was such a success, we’re doing it again! With the addition of storytelling (and maybe a little acting) for the youngsters, don’t miss it!

Beth Israel Judea members, staff and officers are warmly invited to enjoy a musical Shabbat at camp. The evening includes a reception with URJ Camp Newman officers, Shabbat dinner, singing and dancing. You must register online to attend.
