Sunday, November 20       9:30 am - 12:00 pm
We’re exploring Kehillah Kedoshah – Holy Community!

Starting at 9:30 sharp … in the Mercaz (the school building).

Why are we in the Mercaz? Because it’s a Family Education Day this Sunday! Kids, Parents, Grandparents, and other family friends are welcome to join us!

Upon arrival, go up the stairs to the Beit Midrash, the large room on the right. If you don’t know where that is you can ask Anatoly or follow your ears – we’ll be singing!! At 9:45 you’ll go to your first workshop (you’ll pick two of these six options and more details will be provided Sunday morning).

1.       Dissonance and Accord – Creating Family Harmony through Song with Ricki

2.       From Generation to Generation – A Cooking Activity with Rikki

3.       Sages, Young and Old – Studying Jewish Texts with Rabbi Gottlieb

4.       Do You Have a Rav? – Studying Jewish Texts with Jamie

5.       Our Family Adventure – A Physical Activity with Dona
This session is full of adventure, boundary breaking, and fun! We’ll spend time in the fresh air as we tackle physical activities together. One by one, you and me, we’ll strengthen our kehillah kedoshah (holy community)!

6.       Our Family Tree – An Art Project with Shani and Brianna
Once upon a time, all families looked the same. Today very few families look like any other. Families are made up of supportive members. Sometimes they live in the same house. Sometimes they live in different houses. Some are related by blood and some are not. What makes a family? What does your family look like?
