Provided the church is available, couples have a legal right to get married in: • The parish where they currently reside; • The parish where they were baptised and/or confirmed; • A parish in which they have lived for six months or more, at any time during their lives; • A parish in which they have attended worship for at least six months at any time; • The parish in which their parents lived or worshipped (during the child’s lifetime); • The parish in which their parents or grandparents were married. |
