I am Lecturer at Cardiff University.

My research helps societies take better decisions. More specifically, I focus on the creation, change and impact of institutions in governance. Since language is the central transmission belt for social interaction, I often use natural language processing (NLP) to answer my research questions. In recent years, I have been implementing several projects with a focus on Latin America.

You can read about my findings for example in the Journal of Politics, International Interactions or the Journal of Politics in Latin America.

This is my latest CV
