Pennsylvania:
if you are working in the southern counties of Pennsylvania always check General Southern Resources, Maryland & Virginia/West Virginia Resources
if you are working in the northern counties or the Wyoming Valley (primarily Luzerne County) always check New York records - particularly Orange and Dutchess Co. NY)
Maryland:
If you are working in the northern counties of Maryland check Pennsylvania.
If you are working in the Western Counties of Maryland check Virginia
If you are ANYWHERE in Maryland check Baltimore County / City
Delaware
If you are working in early Delaware check the early eastern counties of Bucks & Chester & Philadelphia Co. PA as well as Cecil Co. & Kent Co. MD
New Jersey
If you are working in New Jersey check the eastern counties of NY, Bucks, Chester & Philadelphia Co. PA, New Castle Co. Delaware, and if you think they went to Virginia look in Frederick & Loudoun Co. who had sizable migrations of NJ through PA people.
