What We Do


The Alcott PTA is a team of parents, family members, teachers, staff, and friends of Alcott Elementary. 
 
Our goal is to enhance the educational experience for Alcott's students.  We believe that being involved in our school's community leads to higher rewards for our children. 
 
How does the Alcott PTA help our children?  At a state and national level, we are part of one of the largest child advocacy organizations in the country.  In our school, we fund and organize activities and events that benefit our children at school, at home, and in our community.

Here are a few ways you can be involved:  
  • Join the Alcott PTA
  • Attend events at the school
  • Participate in school activities
  • Support fundraisers/make a donation
  • Volunteer on a committee
  • Head a committee
  • Serve as a board member
