AJIZ was established in August 1991 by the vision of Haji Bashir Ahmed Ajiz (late), who recognized a need to address issues of sustainable consumption and environmental and social justice. AJIZ was joined by others who wish to create and promote strategies that secure environmental and social justice regarding key issues of fundamental lives, like Health, Education, Human rights, Community Development, in a rapidly transforming Pakistan. We believe that it is increasingly critical to work directly with the poor and marginal communities in Pakistan and form new kinds of partnerships to move us closer to our vision of community Development like other social world. Our grassroots experience informs all of our work, right up to advocating for better policy at the state and central level. Our work on Development presents ourselves, which we re-envision in our specific context.

Our work is conducted based on the four Cs... among the member organizations.
