Activities Description

ChemTAG is a group of chemistry teachers who meet monthly with the purpose of improving high school chemistry instruction. During meetings, teachers perform demos, ask and answer questions, swap lab activities, exchange ideas that work for them and any other activity that helps them to become better in the classroom. Participants run the Demo Den at the New Jersey Science Convention each year, and are active with the Teacher Affiliates of the North Jersey Section supporting National Chemistry Week and Mole Day. Many meetings involve make-and-take activities where teachers build devices for demonstration back at their schools. Meetings are open to all who might benefit and dates and locations are posted on the Events Schedule Page.
