Chess

Chess is a millennia old game of strategy created during the dark ages; its call for tactical fore-thought and skill have made it just as popular now as it was over 1000 years ago. The premise is simple; one participant plays the white army, the other the black army – with each aiming to take out their opponent’s king piece. Each play has an army consisting of 8 pawns, 2 castles, 2 knights, 2 bishops, 1 queen and 1 king. Players must learn the different movements that each piece uses and stay on the offensive to dispatch their enemies. Take your time, consider each move no matter how small and slowly progress towards victory!
