Repeat Prescription Service (RPS)

HOW DO I ORDER MY ROUTINE PRESCRIPTION AGAIN?

We have a variety of ways you can order your regular medications from our practice.

We normally provide a 48-hour turnaround service. So, if you order on Monday, your prescription will be ready on Wednesday. If you order on Friday, it will be ready on Tuesday. Add an extra day (or two) when ordering over bank holidays.

If for any reason we cannot process your repeat prescription request, we will either call you or discuss it further when you come for collection.

Times - 8.00 AM to 6.30 PM Monday To Friday

Visit our practice and drop off your repeat prescription request (in our RPS collection box)

Times - 24 hours, 7 days a week

1. Patient Online Service. You need to register first then go to:

2. By Post. Please send us your repeat prescription request and we will prepare and forward the completed prescription to your nominated pharmacy or have it ready for you in our reception. Allow sufficient time for the postal delivery and processing.

Telephone calls for repeat prescription request

During the Covid pandemic we changed our procedures so that all patients could order their routine repeat medications and make life easier for everyone. Now, thankfully, things are looking better, we are winding down this process and asking patients to avoid calling us for this service. In exceptional circumstances, we will try to help you.

News - We are looking to trial a new service where all patients will be able to call a dedicated number to place their repeat prescription request. Watch this space!
