Emergency Evacuation

In the unlikely event of a Civil Defence Emergency that requires the school to evacuate (Tsunami), we will assemble down the end of Ruth Street.

We routinely practice what to do in an emergency at St. Mary's School. We practice lockdown drills, earthquake drills and fire drills. In term 1 of 2020 we have re looked at our Tsunami evacuation maps provided by the council and now practice our evacuation route. Our teachers discuss why we practice these emergency situations with the students, to keep ourselves safe.
