I am a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Computational and Applied Mathematics at Rice University, working with Dr. Andrew Schaefer. I completed my Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Sergiy Butenko in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Texas A&M University. My primary research interests are in optimization and data analytics methodologies and their applications in cancer treatment. Besides research, I enjoy reading about (contemporary) history and economics, but not as much as playing soccer.

Here are links to my CV, Google Scholar, and GitHub pages.

PS: My official first name -- that appears on my publications -- is Seyedmohammadhossein, which should actually be written Seyed Mohammad Hossein. The first word, Seyed, is a family prefix (not my name); my family and friends call me Mohammad.
