The Issue

The Problem

Women and girls face discrimination due to their gender that holds them back in life. This issue is affecting not only women and girls, but people all over the world and society as a whole. Unfair stereotypes and the lack of protection under the law leave women and girls at a social disadvantage. So many careers are dominated by men. So many women and girls are illiterate due to a lack of education. So many girls and women experience the harsh pressures of stereotypes that make them feel insecure and insignificant in society. Everybody can help, and everybody needs to. Gender equality is an issue not yet resolved, and it is long overdue.
