Use the links below to navigate to the proper tab to look for links to books or worksheets for your (or your student's) grade level.

MHUSD Summer School Format

Morgan Hill Unified School District will be offering multiple programs during the summer. Most programs will run in two and a half week increments with students attending in person for classes or a day camp hosted by the YMCA. The first group will attend from June 14th to June 29th and the second group will attend June 30th to July 15th. Communications were sent out on June 7th to confirm admission.

Our limited enrollment five week programs include:

K-2 DIME, Migrant PreSchool and K-8 Special Day Classes

If your student enrolled in our virtual program or has been enrolled in district transportation you can pick up bus passes or class materials at P.A. Walsh Elementary, 353 W Main Ave. Morgan Hill on Thursday June 10th from 8-11am or 5-7pm.

If your student is not enrolled in our programs, you are welcome to utilize the online resources provided here to engage with your student at home.

K-8 Summer School

Class Cohorts A and B: Students will attend in person for two and a half weeks. School days are Monday-Thursday, with the exception of the week after July 5th, which will be Tuesday - Friday. Classes will dismiss at 12 and students will have the opportunity to participate in the YMCA and Sports For Learning programs until 2:30. Any students who were enrolled in district transportation will receive notice in the mail the week of June 7th and can pick up their bus pass from P.A. Walsh Elementary on Thursday June 10th from 8-11am or 5-7 pm.

Grupos de clase A y B: Los estudiantes asistirán en persona durante dos semanas y media. Los días escolares son de Lunes a Jueves, con la excepción de la semana posterior al 5 de Julio, que será de Martes a Viernes. Las clases terminarán a las 12 y los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de participar en los programas YMCA y Sports For Learning hasta las 2:30. Todos los estudiantes que se inscribieron en el transporte del distrito recibirán un aviso por correo la semana del 7 de Junio y podrán recoger su pase de autobús en P.A. Virtual Summer School: Students enrolled in virtual summer school will attend classes all five weeks via Zoom. Materials, including chromebooks and zoom information can be picked up from P.A. Walsh Elementary (353 W Main Ave, Morgan Hill) on Thursday June 10th from 8-11am or 5-7pm.

YMCA K-8 Summer Program

YMCA Summer programs will occur in two and a half week cohorts where students will attend in person. These programs are organized by our partners with the YMCA and will largely serve as a day camp for students who are not enrolled in classes.

Los programas de verano de la YMCA se llevarán a cabo en grupos de dos semanas y media donde los estudiantes asistirán en persona. Estos programas están organizados por nuestros socios con la YMCA y servirán en gran medida como un campamento de día para los estudiantes que no están inscritos en clases.

Migrant Program


There will be Folklorico and Art classes available for our migrant students after classes for each cohort. Migrant students attending in person will be able to attend during their cohort’s in person days.

Summer Tutoring

This program is intended to offer additional support for academics during the span of our summer programing for enrolled students who qualify.

9th Grade Connection

Our 9th Grade Connection program offers the opportunity for incoming 9th graders to spend two weeks at their new high school to familiarize themselves with the campus, connect with their new teachers and meet new friends! There are two one week sessions hosted at both Live Oak and Sobrato high school, one in June and one in July.

¡Nuestro programa Conexión de 9º grado ofrece la oportunidad para que los estudiantes que ingresan al 9º grado pasen dos semanas en su nueva escuela secundaria para familiarizarse con el campus, conectarse con sus nuevos maestros y conocer nuevos amigos! Hay dos sesiones de una semana en las escuelas secundarias Live Oak y Sobrato, una en Junio y otra en Julio.

High School Credit Recovery

Students in need of credit recovery will have the opportunity to take courses virtually and attend in person to test for their credits. For students who prefer working on campus there will be a hub where they can connect to the internet and take their classes virtually while on campus. There are two sessions starting June 7th.

Los estudiantes que necesiten recuperar créditos tendrán la oportunidad de tomar cursos virtualmente y asistir en persona para evaluar sus créditos. Para los estudiantes que prefieren trabajar en el campus, habrá un centro donde pueden conectarse a Internet y tomar sus clases virtualmente mientras están en el campus. Hay dos sesiones a partir del 7 de Junio.
