Evaluation of Implementation and Fidelity of Instructional Practices

Each school rates their system practices using the LCPS RTI Implementation Rubric twice per year (fall and spring) and uses the data during continuous school improvement planning.

Implementation data should be validated using student outcome data, particularly Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Growth data, and Standards of Learning (SOL) scores.

Fidelity of instructional practice implementation (i.e., specific interventions, approaches or products) should be monitored frequently and consistently using a general evidenced-base practice checklist or a checklist specific to the approach or product.
