School Counseling

Welcome to the Westchester School Counseling Website!

About Me:

Hi Westchester! My name is Rebecca Peacock and I am so excited to be your full-time school counselor! Pictured on the left, is my not-so-little-anymore dog, Toby, and my husband Alan, who is the school counselor at Talley Street Elementary.

I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee, a Master's in Education in School Counseling from Georgia State University, and an Education Specialist degree in Professional Counseling and Supervision from the University of West Georgia. I am also a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor working towards full licensure and a Play Therapy certification.

When I am not working, I enjoy hiking, exploring new restaurants, crafting, and cheering on the Tennessee VOLS!

As your school counselor, I provide:

  • Academic, behavioral, and social/emotional support through short term, individual counseling and/or small group sessions.

  • Classroom counseling lessons that focus on character education, social skills, careers, study/test-taking skills, coping skills, conflict resolution, safety and other topics to support students' complete development to be successful now and in the future.

  • Teacher consultations to wrap all students in holistic support.

  • Parent consultations to support the family system.

  • Crisis counseling and referrals to outside agencies when needed.

Please contact me with with questions or to schedule services for your student(s).
