Welcome to Third Grade
Dear Parents and Third Graders,
Next week is going to be a busy and exciting week. We are going to be back in the classroom. On Monday and Tuesday there will be an Open House. Plan to bring your school supplies to our classroom, set up your desk, and see our room because school begins on Wednesday, August 19!
You may come on Monday, August 17 anytime between 5:30-7:00 p.m. or Tuesday, August 18 anytime between 9:00-10:30 a.m.

The 12 times table is introduced in this lesson so have your child read it over several times after they have filled in section 1 correctly or have them use flashcards to practice.
Please use the following PDF to copy the timed speed drill your child is ready to take. If your child is unsure of which table they are ready to take email or text me and I can give you that information. Also remember they need to complete it in 2 minutes with 0 mistakes. They can take it as many times as needed. Every time your child successfully completes a timed speed drill, place it in the gold folder. Then move on to the next times table.
Optional activity: Due to the extended remote learning time, I have included a PDF of the banana split they were making in class. They can color each part for the times table they have already passed and then continue coloring the other parts as they pass each speed drill at home.
