Tuesday, September 8:

  • MATH: Complete page 25 & 26. (For problems #1 and #2 make sure you add the money as you go along.)

  • SPELLING: We are on list #3 which you can find on page 9 in your spelling packet. These words all have "double consonants." Also, please write the list in your planner.

  • READING: The reading assignment from last week is due tomorrow.

  • HISTORY: Read page 10. Then share with a family member how you can use your freedom wisely. This does not have to written out on paper. We will share in class what you all talked about with your family.

  • SPELLING: List #3, page 10. The spelling words have either one syllable or two syllables. You are grouping the words by how many syllables they each have. Clap it out like we did in class to help you.

  • PHONICS: The assignment is Page 17 & 18. At the top of page 18, for problem #1 the special sound is "ck."

  • READING: "Little Bug's Trip" is found on pages 13-23 in your READING book. Please have the story read by Friday. Plan to read some today and some on Thursday. You'll have an activity on Friday to go along with it.

  • HISTORY: Read page 11 and answer the "Do You Remember?" questions. (You can write your answers in your book) You can use pages 8 and 9 to help you with your answers.

  • HISTORY: This assignment is due on Tuesday, Sept 8th. Read pages 8 & 9 in your "Our America" book. On a clean sheet of paper title it "Our America pages 8 and 9 questions" First of all, copy Proverbs 15:4 from a bible (or you can go online if needed). Tell me about a time that someone said something that ENCOURAGED you. What words did they use? Then I want you to answer this question: Why do you think the freedom of religion is such an important freedom?

Friday:
