Fourth Grade is an important year for students! Every year students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning as the expectations of success grow! Some of the important qualities that you will continue to develop this year are: organization, personal responsibility, preparedness, collaboration, growth mindset, and goal setting!
Most importantly, fourth grade will be a fun and exciting year full of a variety of learning experiences!
About me
Hi friends! My name is Lauren Moore and I am a 4th grade teacher at Woodglen Elementary School! I went to SUNY Oneonta where I got my Bachelors degree in General Education. Then I went on to Manhattanville College where I received my Masters in Special Education! In my class we will make lots of mistakes! But don't be scared! Mistakes are what help our brain grow! My classroom is a safe space to explore and work together! I will help you set goals and defeat challenges! I love teaching fourth grade and I hope you enjoy your time with me!
