JROTC Drill Teams & Competitive Color Guard
The CHS JROTC Competition Drill Team is a marching unit that performs routines based on military drill. Cadets can perform either armed or unarmed drill during competitive drill competitions. The armed and unarmed teams also have an exhibition team where Cadets can add their own unique style and moves to a choreographed routine. The competitive Color Guard is an extracurricular Navy JROTC team responsible for presenting the flag in a variety of settings. The members of the Color Guard practice drill and ceremonies, proper wearing of the uniform as well as the proper ways to show respect to our nation's flag. Competitive seasons are Sept-Feb.
