Student Profiles

The admission for the Integrated MSc Programme is through the NEST Exam conducted by the Dept. of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India. The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for students seeking admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research(NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CBS), Mumbai and ISERC, Visva-Bharati. Less than 1% out of 70000 applicants were selected for admission in 2009. All the students admitted  receive the DST- Inspire fellowship as per the DST, Govt. rules.

All the final year students are eligible for INSPIRE AORC fellowship worth Rs. 20,000/- per month after the completion of the course tenure for pursuing their career in Research.



The students of the second batch of ISERC, batch 2015 are ready for taking a step towards their careers in different fields that await them. ISERC can boast of a highly motivated set of youngsters who have been exposed to research work with their intensive project work and are prepared with their varied set of skills to make a mark.
