Mr. Bryan Jaeckel

Bryan Jaeckel, native of Waunakee, WI, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. While at Eau Claire, he studied conducting with Dr. Richard Mark Heidel, and French Horn with Andy Parks. Mr. Jaeckel was a member of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps and served on the staff of the Capital Sound Drum and Bugle Corps for a short time. He currently shares conducting duties for all three concert ensembles and also directs the Marching Band, and the Ellington Jazz Ensemble. Mr. Jaeckel enjoys spending time with his wife Jill and his two beautiful children, Benjamin and Abigail! In his spare time, he enjoys cheering on the Packers, playing Fantasy Football, and photography.

Mr. Alex Plum

Alex Plum grew up in Eagan, MN and graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 2018. There, he was an active member in the Trombone Studio, Wind Symphony, Jazz 1, and Blugold Marching Band. During college, Mr. Plum also marched two summers with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps on trombone and baritone, and started helping out with the River Falls Marching Band in 2017. He is incredibly excited to join the River Falls staff as a Band Director and work with the various high school concert ensembles, marching band, jazz bands, and more! Prior to joining RFHS, Mr. Plum spent two years at Unity High School in Balsam Lake, Wi. Mr. Plum loves to explore the great outdoors with his wife Sarah (Mrs. Plum) and dog Nellie. Their most recent adventure took them out west to Zion, Arches, Grand Canyon, Canyonlands, and Mesa Verde National Parks. The Plums can often be found hiking and kayaking in the summer or spending time with their families. The Plums are also excited to finally move into the district and call River Falls their home!
