Hello!

Welcome to Mrs. Grace’s Resource room.

It is a pleasure to have your child in my class. In Resource we work with students in small groups to meet their IEP goals. This often means that students come and go from the Resource room throughout the day. According to your students’ IEP, they might come for a 45 minute period for Language Arts, and/ or Math. Some students get help with Social/ Emotional goals. If you want to talk to me, please call 602-449-6400. I will return your call as soon as I possibly can.

I am a Special Educator with over 25 years experience in PVUSD. I have taught Elementary students from grades 1-6, in both regular and Special Education. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Kansas State University in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Special Education from ASU. I love teaching Special Education. I want each student to reach their highest potential, and to meet their IEP goals. My family is here in the Phoenix area. I have 3 adult children and 11 grandchildren.

In Resource, Mr. Mike Martell teaches grades 4-6. I teach grades K-3. Mrs. Shivani Negi is our Para-educator. We work closely with your student’s classroom teacher. Our goal is always to keep your student in Regular Education as much as possible.
