The second half of our 2015 Movember campaign has concluded. In total,

St. Luke raised $750.55 toward changing the face of men's health!

Bravo St. Luke! It's truly the MOst wonderful time of the year!

The first half of St. Luke’s Movember fundraising campaign has recently concluded to amazing results. The monetary donations raised by St. Luke students currently sits at $386.15. Bravo St. Luke!!! The top five classes to donate to the cause were: Mrs. DiGaetano’s Grade 5 class, Mr. Bruno’s Gr. 5 class, Madame Verheul’s JS2 kindergarten class, Mrs. Vachon’s Grade 3 class, and Mrs. Logan’s Grade 6 class. Representatives from those 5 classes will be asked to help dye and shave the moustaches of Mr. Risto, Mr. Bruno, Mr. Hammell, Mr. Boucher and Mr. Pratt. Rumour has it that “HOT PINK” and “St. Luke GREEN” are the two most likely shades. The moustache dying and shaving will take place on Friday, November 27th. On Friday, students are asked to bring in a loonie or toonie to purchase and wear a sticker moustache for the day in support of Movember. Hopefully, with this last fundraising effort, St. Luke can bring its total donation for Movember to $900 or more.

The first half of St. Luke’s Movember fund-raising campaign has recently concluded to amazing results. The donations by St. Luke students currently sits at $441.60. Bravo St. Luke!!!

The top primary class to donate to the cause was Mrs. Cooke’s grade 1 class and the top junior class was Ms. Hagan’s grade 6 class. Honourable mention goes out to Mme. Boudreau’s and Mr. Bruno’s grade four class. Representatives from those 3 classes were asked to help dye and shave the moustaches of Mr. Bruno and Mr. Pratt. On Wednesday, November 29th, our two handsome male teachers will have their moustaches shaved during the St. Luke Recognition Assembly. On Friday, students are asked to bring in a loonie or toonie to purchase and wear a sticker moustache for the day in support of Movember. Hopefully, with this last fundraising effort, St. Luke can bring its total donation for Movember to $ 1000 or more. Thanks for your generous support of the St. Luke Movember campaign!

November 29th, 2013 Update:

The second half of St. Luke's 2013 Movember fundraising campaign ended on November 29th. Students and staff contributed $274.40 today toward the purchase of some Movember moustache stickers, bringing our school total to an impressive $716! Special thanks to Mr. Jarred Pratt, a teacher in our school's DE class, who also took the Mo Bro Challenge by dying and shaving his moustache. Thanks to everyone involved in the St. Luke community who helped change the face of men's health issues in Canada.

November 30th, 2012

The second half of St. Luke's Movember fundraising campaign ended today. Students contributed $307 today toward the purchase of some Movember moustache stickers, bringing our school total to an amazing $1004!!! Special thanks to Mr. Dave Lowthian, a parent in the St. Luke community, who also took the Mo Bro Challenge by dying and shaving his moustache. Thanks to everyone involved in the community who helped raise awareness and funds toward men's health issues and Movember. Look for pictures covering the

In addition, members of the St. Luke staff and community have donated an additional $240 bringing the St. Luke total to date up to an incredible $697.09!!! Bravo St. Luke!!!
