Welcome Bay Laurel Families! My name is Candice Miranda and I am thrilled to be teaching First Grade this year! I am looking forward to getting to know each student and their families. This is my 11^th year with LVUSD. I earned my Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California Lutheran University as well as my Early Childhood Development Teaching Permit from Los Angeles Pierce College. When I am not teaching, I spend my time with my two boys (Landon is 7 years old and Mason is 23 years old), my husband, Andy, our two cats and pup, Jaxie. We enjoy playing and watching sports, swimming and the beach, and last, but not least… just relaxing at home.
