FAFSA Night Tuesday October 18th Kekaulike Library at 6pm

Post date: Oct 24, 2016 7:45:05 AM

Don't leave money on the table. High school graduates missed out on as much as $2.7 billion in free federal grant money last year by not completing the FAFSA.

Join us tonight for our FAFSA workshop in the Kekaulike library at 6pm. The UH Maui College financial aid office will be here to assist you in completing your FAFSA. Even if you think you will not qualify for federal grants, the FAFSA is used by colleges to award need-based or merit-aid based packages, including grants and work-study programs. Many scholarships also require the FAFSA including the Hawaii Community Foundation which awards over 4 million dollars in scholarships to Hawaiian students. In addition, the FAFSA automatically qualifies the student for low-interest and forgivable federal student loans–the most attractive kind of student loans available. Please bring your FSA ID and your 2015 taxes.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
