Long View High School

Long View High School 
is a small alternative Jefferson County Public School, the smallest comprehensive public school in the metro area. We are in our twenty-third year of operation, with four teachers serving students in grades 10-12. We have over 270 graduates, many of whom have continued their education at four-year colleges and universities.

Long View was chosen in 2014-15 as a School of Opportunity by the National Education Policy Center. Read about us here in the Washington Post:

We are now accepting applications for the Fall of 2016-17

New students should be at least 16 years old and have at least 6 credits.

To enroll for Fall 2016, the student must attend 
one information meeting.
Parents are also strongly encouraged to attend. 

Upcoming dates for info meetings are:

Friday, August 12, 2016 at 2 pm
Monday, August 15 at  2 pm
Tuesday, August 16 at 2 pm
Wednesday, August 17 at 2 pm

Meetings last approximately 45 minutes and are held at Long View High School
