Free Workshops Invitation –HKSTLA’s BUD Project for Food, Wine, Catering and Resturant, Health Products, Cosmetics, Luxury Goods, Department Stores and eCommerce

 

You are cordially invited to join 9 free workshops for “HK Logistics Practitioners Upgrading and Branding Program” (BUD 12 2 005) from Hong Kong Trade and Industry Department. The objective of this project is to offer logistics solutions to the 8 industries namely food, wine, catering and restaurant, health products, cosmetics, luxury goods, department stores and eCommerce. Discussion on the market overview, regularity requirement, standard operation procedures, activities, opportunities, challenge and recommendations are shared. A guidebook for tips of doing respective business in China is given for free at the workshop. The class size is 30. Please fill in the reply slip if you are interested.

  Dr. KS LI 

李博士在香港、中國及新加坡的快速流轉消費品零售、電貿配運、膳食供應、冷鏈管理及第三方物流服務累積多年管理經驗，並曾在多家跨國公司擔任要職，專長為改造儲運流程及制定企業戰略

 

李博士具澳洲紐卡斯爾大學工商管理博士學位、澳洲墨爾本皇家科技大學商業物流碩士學位及香港大學電子商貿深造文憑，也是英國特許物流及運輸學會特許會員。

 

此外李博士是「中國物流與採購聯合會」確認的全國合資格「物流師職業資格認證培訓教師」，經常於公開研討會及會議演說及參與碩士課程教學及行政人員培訓。

Dr. Irene Poon

DBA, MBus, BBus, CMILT,PMHKLA, MIPSHK, FMHKSTLA

 

Logistics professional with more than 20 years’ experience in purchasing, inventory control, production, shipping, and customer services for specialist supply companies with local and multinational clients such as P&G, Nestle, Cadbury, Philips, Thorn Lighting, General Electric, McDonalds and ABB.  Dr. Poon has extensive experience in managing the in-house logistics operation and contracted logistics service suppliers.  She is a visiting lecturer in various local and overseas universities for more than 12 years and is responsible for teaching courses in logistics and supply chain management, purchasing management and negotiation skills.  She also provides professional consultancy services such as logistics and supply chain auditing, process reengineering, project management and tailored corporate training programmes to clients. Dr. Poon has been invited to be the guest speaker in Tradelink, Ge-TS and HK General Chamber of Commerce since 2008 and provides various types of workshops in these organizations regularly.  She is a Certified Logistician Trainer (物流師職業資格認證培訓師) and a certified trainer of ITC International Purchasing and Supply Management (ITC註冊採購師職業資格認證培訓師) since years 2004 and 2009 respectively.

 

Health Industry Workshop – Mr. Joseph Lau

 

劉銳業先生畢業於香港理工大學，於2007年獲頒國際航運及物流管理榮譽學士學位及2009年獲頒國際航運及物流管理理學碩士。劉先生在修讀國際航運及物流管理榮譽學士學位期間表現優異，獲列入院長名單。

劉先生具備多方面的運輸和物流業經驗，工作範疇包括貨運代理、第三方物流供應商及空運貨站。此外，他擁有多個學會的專業資格，包括：英國皇家物流與運輸學會及海運學會。另一方面，劉先生擁有豐富的教育行政工作經驗，主要負責課程註冊和制定質素保證體系。

2008年，劉先生開始了研究生活，最初擔任香港理工大學研究助理，迄今已在國際學術期刊及專業雜誌發表了30多篇研究論文及書籍的章節，並在國際會議及研討會上發表多篇論文。另外，他參與過不同的諮詢項目，主要包括：中國港口發展、低碳交通運輸和多聯式交通樞紐。劉先生的研究興趣是海上運輸、航空運輸、港口規劃、供應鏈管理、綠色交通、海事法律、公共交通、航海教育，以及人文地理。

 劉先生一直積極參與不同的社區服務和學術活動。例如擔任海運學會執行委員會成員(2010年 - 2014年) 及香港物流與運輸學會 - 青年事務委員會主席(2008年 - 2010年)。

 

 

 

Food Industry Workshop – Mr. Ken Chung

鍾鴻興先生

大昌行物流有限公司業務總經理

 

鍾鴻興先生現職為大昌行物流有限公司業務總經理及香港安全檢定有限公司總經理。現任香港物流商會副主席、供應鏈及縱合物流委員會主席、香港冷凍供應鏈管理委員會執行副主席、香港貨品编码協會物联網(IoT)諮詢委員会委員，香港航運物流協會會員，國際青年商會香港總會資深會員、及香港經緯青年商會前會長。

 

鍾先生亦積極參與社會事務，香港政府委任公職包括: 香港物流及供應鏈管理應用技術研發中心(LSCM)董事局成員、香港檢測和認證局食品行業檢測和認證服務小組委員、香港特區政府行政長官委任行政上訴委員會委員。

 

鍾先生獲澳洲皇家墨爾本大學(University of Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) 頒授物流管理碩士學位，並擁有工商管理學士學位。

 

Cosmetics Industry Workshop – Mr. Albert Leung

梁國斌

 

國斌有近10年化妝品行業的經驗，通過他的專業知識和豐富的經驗，國斌為不少化妝品企業提供專業的解決方案，包括產品的安全性和有效性的測試和認證、全球的監管意見、中國化妝品批文申請、機構內部培訓等。

 

國斌對化妝品科學有濃厚的興趣，所以他在經常參與更協辦化妝品科學和技術論壇，更成為國際化妝品化學家協會聯合會（IFSCC）香港分會的幹事及英國皇家化學協會的會員。

 

國斌也通過他的專業知識貢獻教育界，他為職業訓練局高峰進修學院的化妝品科學課程擔任兼職導師。他也協助香港中文大學專業進修學院設計和舉辦化妝品學和管理文憑課程，並擔任兼職導師。

 

國斌曾接受眾多媒體和報紙的訪問，包括明報，都市日報，東方日報及無線電視，探討化妝品科學和安全的話題。他也是姐妹美容雜誌的專欄作家和德國化妝品雜誌Euro-Cosmetics Magazine的編委會成員。

 

國斌獲得香港理工大學和英國華威大學聯合頒發的工程商業管理課程碩士學位, 及香港中文大學應用化學及管理學學士。

袁尚文博士為香港航運物流恊會院士，香港理工大學專業進修學院講師及學術统籌。從事有關商業營運、物流及供應鏈管理；資訊科技及電子商貿的相關教學，課程發展及研究工作。

 

 

Wine Industry Workshop – Mr. Thomas Tam

 

 Mr. Thomas Tam

Mr. Thomas Tam is WSET Advanced Certified in wine and spirit UK. Thomas is a Wine Tutor and he currently writes in the newspaper and facebook fanpage as a Food and Wine Columnist. He writes what he feels. Being the Judge Member and Director of Communication of Hong Kong Wine Judge Association, he was invited to be the judge of different local and international wine challenges. By visiting vineyards, he enjoyed the different terroir in each place, having the wine with its own character.
He is a System Engineering Professional with over 20 years experience in manufacturing sector and China Business.   Currently, he is the Fellow Member (FSTLA) and the Promotion and Public Relations Sub-committee of the Hong Kong Sea Transport and Logistics Association, the Chartered Member (CMILT) and the Member of Professional Activities Committee of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, the Professional Member (PMHKLA) and Council Member of the Hong Kong Logistics Association and the Member of The Hong Kong Association of Risk Management and Safety (MHKARMS).
 

 

Department Store Industry Workshop – Mr. William Lai

William C.K. Lai

Mr. William C. K. Lai worked in various management positions in garment manufacturer, importer / exporter and logistics distributors both in Hong Kong and overseas country.  He has extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in international shipping, transport & logistics, managing programs to evaluate, demonstrate, deploy innovations in transportation, security, & logistics management systems.  

During his more than 20 years of services of the related business field, he

* directs a wide variety of programs involving transportation and logistics planning, process improvements, technology evaluations, integrating global maritime and logistics information to improve operations and safety. 

* builds an efficient and effective logistic and distribution system

* setup standards and procedures for import and export products in countries which allows to achieve enormous growth in recent years. 

 

He is currently senior manager in charge of shipping, distribution and logistics functions for retail and wholesales distribution group companies in Hong Kong, with an extensive retail and wholesales distribution network in Asia Pacific region (Greater China inclusive).   Merchandises include high fashion, luxury watches and jewellery, city chic fashion, accessories and life style products.  Each brand or merchandises has its unique and strict logistics requirements to ensure the best quality of merchandises be presented to customers.

李家聲 (高級市務經理)
李家聲先生於2010年獲La Kaffa 委任為大中華區的高級市務經理。他領導La Kaffa 的香港、澳門及中國國內銷售及營運策略發展，現時La Kaffa 有八間的分店。在加入La Kaffa 之前，李家聲擔任市場及銷售策略的工作有超過10年的經驗, 曾經任職於新世界集團、CSL流動通訊及香港賽馬會。在2009-2011期間，他在香港協助「日出茶太」的分店的擴張及推廣工作，曾創下18個月內開 28 間加盟分店的成績。

Logistics Industry Workshop – Mr. Eric Wong and Mr. Paul Li  

Eric MS Wong

 

Eric Wong is the CEO and Director of Marina Container Lines (HK) Ltd, a full-fledged transportation and logistics company.

 

Eric was awarded B.A. (1^st Hons) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1979. He began his professional career as a Management Trainee at Swire Shipping (Agencies) HK Ltd. where he made important contributions in the capacities of liner agency manager and China trade manager up to 1994 before he moved on to P&O Containers, which later became P&O Nedlloyd in 1997, as General Manager, Sales and Marketing in Hong Kong and South China. He continued in this role in Maersk Hong Kong after A.P. Moller’s acquisition of P&ONedlloyd in 2006, and moved on to corporate change management position up to 2008. He joined his present company in 2009.

 

Eric is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Sea Transport and Logistics Association, and chairman of the Training sub-Committee. His is also an executive member of the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) within the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF). In his spare time, Eric teaches logistics courses at the Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA).

 

Paul Li

Paul is the president of Transland Shipping (1971) Group. He has been in logistics field for 40 years. His group is famous of offering effective solutions. Based on the four values in business culture – Professionalism, Integrity, Quality and Reliability, Transland have developed an integrated logistics platform at which 18 business units have been developed.

 

Paul received a degree in Master of Science in Engineering Business Management awarded by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and The University of Warwick in 2002. He received a Higher Diploma in Computer Systems Administration Awarded by Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education in 2008.

 

He is a professional member of Hong Kong Logistics Association (2000 to 2013). He is a chartered member of The Chartered Institute of Logistics And Transport (2008 to 2013). He is an executive member of Hong Kong Sea Transport and Logistics Association (2004 to 2014). He is a member of the Logistics Industry Training Advisory Committee (2010 to 2014). He is a member of Transport Logistics Training Board (2010 to 2014). He is an external board of examiner of Project Yin Jin (2011 to 2014).
