Dreams come true at Gladesmore!
Gladesmore Community School students are celebrating record GCSE results again this year continuing their year on year trend to surpass their previous best. Students this week released a single called ‘Everybody Dreams’ that is storming up the charts have today made their dreams come true.

88% of the Year 11 students achieved 5 or more A* to C GCSE grades
60% including top grades in both Mathematics and English.
100% gaining at least one A* to C grade.

Headteacher, Tony Hartney CBE said: “I am so proud of the students. They are magnificent young people. They deserve this success and I feel so thrilled for them. The staff also deserve the highest of praise they have given their all to inspire the children to achieve this success. The staff and students are truly amazing and make Gladesmore the wonderful place it is.”

Head of Year, Reggie Stober, overjoyed with the results said: “Congratulations to everyone. I’m so happy. All the hard work has paid off. It’s great to see that with these results the students will be able to go on now to successful futures.”

Gladesmore students have again exceeded expectations and demonstrated just what can be achieved by a school in an economically disadvantaged inner city area. The ethos of respect, enthusiasm, cooperation and hard work is the norm between students, carers and school staff. There is a family atmosphere in the school where students are encouraged and nurtured to do their best.

In terms of the government league tables showing progress made by the children whilst at secondary school these results will put Gladesmore firmly in the top few schools in the country.

These astonishing GCSE results top off a year where the school have worked hard to lift the spirits of the community following on from the troubles experienced in Tottenham last summer.
