About Gladesmore‎ > ‎

Ofsted Report

In recent years, the school has improved remarkably well both in terms of renovations and performance. It was highly praised by HMI in July 2001 and again in February 2002, April 2003, May 2003 and July 2003 as part of Good Practice visits and was, subsequently, recognised as a Flagship School.

Gladesmore was awarded ‘Outstanding School’ accreditation in our OFSTED Reports from November 2008, December 2009 and most recently in December 2013. Inspectors graded Gladesmore as Outstanding in every category; a rare accolade under the new framework. The school remains fully committed to high levels of academic excellence and pastoral care by frequently reviewing policies, practice and performance. The school has very high expectations and there is no room for complacency. With a strong focus on continuing professional development, the superb staff grasp opportunities to learn fresh ideas, share good practice and maximise their potential.
