School Colors: Blue & Silver School Mascot: Timberwolves Timber Trail, a K-5 elementary school, is part of the Rock Canyon Feeder Area and operates on a conventional school calendar which can be accessed HERE. Timber Trail students move on to Rocky Heights Middle School upon completion of 5th grade. There are currently about 550 students enrolled at Timber Trail Elementary. The breakout by grade is below. Timber Trail offers many other programs outside the classroom. These programs are listed below: Specials TTE employs four specials teachers … Art, Music, P.E. and Health and Wellness. Specials are part of the state and district mandated standards and curriculum. Instructional Support Services TTE employs 11 certified and classified staff in the ISS group. Services provided include Speech Language Pathologist, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Learning Specialists and Intervention Support. ESL (English as a Second Language) TTE employs one certified ESL teacher that shares services with other elementary schools in the feeder area. These students receive support both inside and outside of the classroom. RtI – Response to Intervention Please click here for more information Library Timber Trail students visit the library regularly with their homeroom class. Students learn basic library and research skills, listen to stories and checkout books. Parents are welcome to visit the library and check out books as well. Childcare TTE currently employs three childcare staff members who operate before/after school care as well as “intersession” care for Fall, Winter & Spring Breaks. Timber Trail Education Alliance – Parent Organization TTEA is the parent organization whose sole responsibility is to provide community-wide fundraising events for the families and local community surrounding TTE.
