Art Students League of Denver
The Art Students League of Denver is a non-accredited fine arts school, gallery, and site of frequent neighborhood art fairs and events. Regionally and nationally recognized working artists offer classes and workshops in a wide selection of media. Summer KidArt Camps are one and two-week morning or afternoon camps for kids in grades one through eleven. Classes are offered in an assortment of media and themes and are divided by age and ability. Supervised care is offered before, in-between, and after all workshops.

Bits, Bytes & Bots Computer Adventures
For summer camps, offers morning and afternoon week-long half-day programs Jun-Aug in robotics and programming, movie making, game creation, and 3D game creation. Kids can learn skills that help them in school and beyond. Each child is provided with their own computer to work on during class. Students receive both individual and group instruction.

Camp Invention
Camp Invention is a nationally recognized summer day camp that integrates science, math, history, and the arts. This one-week program fosters creativity, teamwork, inventive thinking skills, and science literacy. Camp Invention enables children to learn through fun hands-on experiences, subject immersion, and discovery.

Camp Shakespeare
Camp Shakespeare is a 14-year-old education program run by the Colorado Shakespeare Festival. For three weeks in the summer, kids ages 10-18 come to CU Boulder’s campus and study Shakespeare with CSF professionals.

Colorado Math Circle
Interested in broadening your mathematical knowledge and sharpening your analytical thinking? Join the Colorado Math Circle for exciting math talks and problem solving sessions hosted by the University of Colorado at Boulder. Speakers will include math professors and mathematicians from around the state. Topics are expected to include number theory, combinatorics, probability, geometry, and group theory.

CU Science Discovery
Science Discovery, established in 1983, is an experience-based educational outreach program of the University of Colorado in Boulder. Science Discovery's mission is to stimulate scientific interest, understanding, and literacy among Colorado's youth, teachers, and families by interfacing with university resources and academic expertise. Science Discovery is dedicated to engaging the whole person in the journey of learning, and strengthening individual capacities to participate actively in local and world communities. Programs include after-school classes, homeschool classes, summer programs, and wilderness camps. They also offer professional development programs for teachers

CU Young Writer's Camp
The 2013 Denver Writing Project Young Writers Camp is back! Last year more than 90 students participated in our workshops. Spend five days with other kids and teens (Grades 5-12) who love to write and want to improve their craft.

Denver Botanic Gardens
Opportunities abound for kids and families to explore the world of plants year-round at Denver Botanic Gardens. From birth through the teenage years, a variety of opportunities are available.

Denver Center Theater Academy
The Denver Center Theatre Academy provides aspiring theatre artists with the opportunity to develop their talents and skills. The Children's Program offers a variety of classes designed to introduce students to theatre and expand their imaginations through drama games and activities. Classes are offered for children ages 2 1/12 through 12. During summer break, the Academy offers week-long drama programs that meet daily from 9am-4pm. The Teen Program offers a range of classes for kids ages 13 and older. Class are taught daily, lasting one or two weeks, in the summer.

Denver Museum of Nature and Science
The Denver Museum of Nature & Science offers fun, exciting and educational week long summer camps on dinosaurs, space science, rocks and much, much more. Camps are offered the week of June 9th - through August 15th, 2008. Camps are available for ages 4-5 through 6th grade. Partial scholarships are available for families with a documented annual income of $30,000 or less.

Denver Zoo
Come spend a week with Denver's wildest residents! Summer Safari is a fun-filled educational experience for animal lovers from preschool to those going into fifth grade. Campers participate in hands-on activities, animal visits and observations, crafts, games, stories, projects, and zoo tours. Activities are designed specifically for each age group.

Exporati Teen Writer's Boot Camp
Founded in 2009, the Explorati Teen Writers Boot Camp has brought together some of the best professional writers in Northern Colorado to teach teens who love to write. Our tracks have included Fiction, Advanced Fiction, Screenwriting, Poetry, and Non-Fiction, taught by award-winning writers like Victoria Hanley, Amy Kathleen Ryan, Todd Mitchell, Veronica Patterson and Dr. Laura Prichett. In 2011, we even held our first ever Film & Theater Camp!

Hands on History Camp
"Young pioneers can spend an engaging and educational week learning hands-on about life in the 1800s. Kids can make butter, play 1800s-style baseball and games, make pioneer food using a wood stove, make cornhusk dolls and other crafts, mine for gold, and feed the chickens. The outdoor program meets Monday through Friday. Scholarships may be available."

iD Tech Camps
iD Tech Camps offers weeklong, day and overnight, hands-on technology summer camps for students ages 8-17 at universities nationwide. They provide a safe and fun environment, where campers learn the latest technology from carefully-selected, passionate instructors. Campers select from the following week long beginning to advanced programs: Digital Video & Movie Production, Multimedia & Game Creation, Web Design & Graphics Arts, Programming & Robotics, and Stop Motion Animation.

JA Business Week Camp
Work on "Apprentice"-style business projects, meet new friends, live on a college campus.

Las Chicas de Matematicas
2013 Las Chicas de Matematicas: UNC Math Camp for Young Women. This is a FREE residential math camp where young women are introduced to college mathematics, are exposed to college life, engage with other young women who enjoy mathematics, and network with women with STEM-related careers. I am hoping to secure funds for 20-30 girls who will be in grades 9-12 during the 2012-2013 academic year to participate.

Rocky Mountain Chess Camp
Coed, All ability levels, Open to ages 6-18 Participants will be divided into similar ability groups (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and age groups for sessions focusing on all aspects of the game including scorekeeping and chess etiquette. Students will compete in mini tournaments for trophies and as well as play in a simultaneous exhibition against an instructor. Camp instructors are excellent chess teachers, strong USCF rated players and are personally trained in the curriculum by Todd Bardwick. Student to Staff ratio averages 8:1 or better. Great care is taken to place students into correct age and ability groupings before the camp begin in order to custom design the camp curriculum to maximize the chess learning experience for all students.

Space Voyage Summer Camp
Space Voyage programs bring to life the importance of math and science, reinforces concepts identified in academic content standards, build confidence through genuine achievement and offer a fun place for kids to imagine the possibilities, learn and grow. Parents of gifted children report that the program is challenging and supportive of their gifted children. The Summer Camp offers 10 weeks to choose from for ages 5-16.

Summer Enrichment Program (UNC)
These university programs are designed primarily for students entering grades 5-10. Students enroll in four classes for 10 days to explore their interests. Students select activities ranging from research to arts & crafts. Saturday sessions led by experts from the university provide an additional opportunity for learning. The cost includes two weeks housing, food, tuition and staff fees. Two 2-weeks sessions offered each summer.

Wild Bear Center for Nature Discovery
The Wild Bear Center for Nature Discovery offers year-round hands-on educational programs to people of all ages to foster a lifelong appreciation of the environment and to promote an environmentally aware, responsible and ecologically sound community. Summer programs, school year programs, and outreach programs are available.

Young Writers' Workshop at the Aspen Summer Words Writers Conference
The Young Writers Workshop is for teenagers (ages 14-18) who are ready for an adventure in storytelling while making new friends. In this workshop, writers will play with free-writing to jumpstart creativity, brainstorm with other writers to find out how to make their stories better and discover what it takes to become a great writer.
